Rooted in Faith. Committed to Community.
Serving Bahama with Christ’s Love Since 1750
Mount Bethel United Methodist Church has been a steady presence in the Bahama community for generations. From our earliest beginnings as a simple meeting house to our role today as a gathering place for worship, care, and service, we have sought to live out a faith that is deeply rooted and outwardly focused. We believe the church is not just a building, but a people called to notice human need, respond with compassion, and walk alongside one another through every season of life.

Guided by the Holy Spirit and grounded in the teachings of Jesus Christ, we strive to embody what Scripture calls “the life that really is life.” This means nurturing faith across generations, creating space for honest questions and meaningful relationships, and reaching beyond our walls to serve our neighbors. Through ministries of worship, music, education, outreach, and care, Mount Bethel seeks to reflect God’s love in practical, tangible ways.

We are honored to serve Bahama and the surrounding community, and we welcome all who are seeking a place to belong, grow, and serve.

Guided by the Holy Spirit, grounded in the teachings of Jesus, and held by the love of God, we seek to live what the apostle Paul called “the life that really is life.” As Christ has reached out to us, we are called to reach out to others with faith, hope, and love.
